The Axis M4228-LVE is a compact 8MP (4K) PoE varifocal outdoor dome camera with a built-in acoustic sensor and AXIS Audio Analytics — detecting relevant sound events such as screaming, glass breaking, and coughing fits, even without visual indication. Lightfinder 2.0, Forensic WDR (up to 120dB), and OptimizedIR (up to 20m) ensure excellent 8MP image quality in all lighting conditions. The ARTPEC-8 processor with DLPU enables advanced edge AI analytics via AXIS Object Analytics. IP66, NEMA 4X, and IK10 certified for outdoor use.
